August 6, 2012
New studies are showing that 20% of middle aged Americans and nearly half of all people 65 and over have more than one chronic condition. These numbers indicated that we're are becoming more unhealthy overall. Contributing factors to this rise is hypertension, diabetes, and cancer. Researchers believe some of these chronic conditions are preventable by lifestyle choices. The researchers show over the past ten years the rate of incidence of multiple chronic conditions has risen ten percent.
